He may be most famous for his opinion-dividing Golden Globes gigs, but Ricky Gervais’ scripted work has its fair share of fans too. A case in point, the first series of his dark comedy After Life was Netflix’s second-highest-viewed show of 2019. And after a similarly successful second season in 2020, a follow-up was announced in May 2020.
