Kentucky – $1,340.30
According to recent statistics by the Social Security Administration, there are around 500,000 retirees living off an average of $1,340.30 a month in Kentucky – and these numbers aren’t too bad. It seems as though the people who live here can’t get enough of the wide open spaces and the oodles of hobbies and attractions they can take advantage of, but it seems as though it’s not all happy smiles and full wallets.
That’s because a study undertaken by WalletHub has found that Kentucky rates pretty poorly within various aspects of everyday life. It’s been found that the cost of healthcare leaves little to be desired, the security of food is problematic, and more. Of course, every state has its downfall, so you just need to weigh up whether these aspects matter to you or not.
