It wakes you up, and it’s kind of refreshing.” But, pilates is great for more than just celebrity fitness and flexibility. Joan Bakewell claims that pilates is part of why she’s still fit and healthy at 70-years-old. In particular, she says, “It is wonderful for injuries.”
