Sores
According to recent studies, it has been determined that if you are fair skinned and live to be 65 years old, you have a 40 percent chance of developing some form of skin cancer. Where other types of cancer can lie hidden from sight, skin cancers are obvious, and this way it is easier to get a jump on treating. An open sore that is troublesome or fails to heal completely could very well indeed be diagnosed as either a basal cell or a squamous cell type carcinoma. With these common types of skin cancer, the sore will present as fragile as well as prone to bleeding. The sores may also be prone to crusting over and oozing.
