Cough
We all cough from time to time, whether it be from allergies, sinus drainage, or just to clear our throat. To that end, usually, a cough is just that, a cough. However, if the occasional cough becomes more and more persistent, then it can possibly be a sign of an underlying problem. Some forms of lung cancer are preceded with a cough, that many do not see for the symptom that it actually can be. When your cough is accompanied by other symptoms—such as blood in your saliva, shortness of breath or even check pain—it is best to alert your physician. If the symptoms are left to linger, the condition may very well worsen and be more challenging to treat in the end.
