Changes In Bowel Movements
With its primary area of choice being the end section of the digestive tract, colon cancer frequently presents with an abnormal bowel movement. Unfortunately, most known colon cancers do not start to reveal symptoms until it well into the later stages. There is also the fact that diagnosing the disease usually occurs late into its development, due to it being of a highly personal nature, thus not often discussed with one’s physician. However, one can be proactive, and keep an eye out for the early warning signs, such as the altering of consistency and size of stool that lasts for more than a month, blood in stools passed, or the feeling of having to go to the bathroom again after had already done so.
