Fever
Cancer, in one respect, is like any other disease or infection—when active and spreading it will outwardly present with a fever. There are multiple reasons why this may occur, with the most common being that of suffering from an impaired immune system. There are several forms of cancer that will present with fever even in the early stages of the disease, such as leukemia, lymphoma, kidney and bone cancers. With particular types of cancer, the fever may be what is called cyclical, in that it may go away for several weeks before returning again. If you suffer from a fever for more than three days or presents itself, goes away, and comes back over the course of a few weeks, it is time to seek out a physician.
