
The man who made the claim is James Hamblin – a preventative medicine physician whose youthful appearance has seen him draw comparisons with 1980s TV doctor Doogie Howser. After studying medicine at Indiana University, Hamblin completed a three-year residency and was later tasked with creating a health section for The Atlantic. He’s since published several books: including 2016’s If Our Bodies Could Talk and 2020’s Clean.
