Clear Out Your Drains
Salt isn’t just an antiseptic. It also boosts the cleaning powers of other antibacterials such as vinegar. If you mix the two, you can create a solution strong enough to clear your sink or bathroom drain.
To start, stir one cup of salt into one cup of vinegar until the solution appears even and smooth. Pour the mixture into the drain and let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes. Then, boil two cups of water and send that down the drain. You can also send dry salt down the drain and pour boiling water over it.
