For fleas, it’s recommended that you pour it onto carpets, furniture, bedding and any other material upon which they’re likely to land. Let it sit for a few hours, and then vacuum up the dehydrated fleas, WebMD suggests. As for roaches, just dust a very thin layer of diatomaceous earth onto baseboards or into any other cracks where the insects may crawl.
