Allegations led John Besh to get edited out of his show
You know that you’ve probably been in the middle of a Food Network scandal if you find yourself edited out of the show. John Besh was about to learn that reality in January 2018. The episode of ‘Iron Chef Showdown’ in question had been filmed the previous year, but John merely made appearances in the background of the episode after executives decided to edit him out of the show. Why?

The TV chef had been accused of inappropriate behavior by no less than 25 of his restaurant employees. As if that wasn’t enough, the employees all claimed that this type of behavior was typical for anyone working with the Besh Restaurant Group. In the end, the network was left with no choice but to try and remove John from as much of the episode as they could manage.
