Ultimately Hadid had decided she wanted something resembling an ordinary childhood. She attended Malibu High School, and whilst there she would impressively make the Junior Olympic qualifiers for volleyball. The Californian would go on to graduate in 2013, but by 2011 she had already picked her modeling career back up.
