9. Blankets as chew toys?
In the event your dog is taken away from its mother too early, the chewing of blankets comforts them. It may destroy the blanket over time, but dogs don’t have thumbs to suck, so the blanket is the next best thing. You can give them an old blanket if you want to let them chew!
